If its a recent upset your appetite will recover as and when your ciscumstances improve.
One thing though having gone through long term anorexia through anxiety and also short term anorexia you will recover your appetite - so maybe dont focus too much on the eating at the moment.
Try to take Actimel etc to maintain some vits in the interim.
Hope you feel better soon hun x

Try to look on the logical side of this notnot, you have to eat to keep yourself going, no wonder you are depressed. Drink milk, just try snacks, cheese, or light meals such as scrambled egg on toast, slice carrots, celery a handful of nuts and raisins and fruit just to nibble on, and try not to think about the effect you think it is having on you, it will make you feel less down. Go see your GP if you are feeling really ill and sick, he will be able to suggest something.
You sound as though you're getting into a vicious circle....feeling anxious so not hungry/feeling sick then getting worried about not eating so feeling even more anxious.
Trying to sort out your 'life stuff' sounds like the way to sort this out......talking always helps, and if you cannot talk to anyone writing the 'stuff' down can also be surprisingly helpful.
As to the food, try to distract yourself from the worries about not eating. You will be able to eat /gain weight again once this rough patch is over. Take some vitamin supplements and eat whatever food you can easily get down, regardless of whether it is 'good for you ' or not. Living on smoothies or tea and biscuits or whatever for a few days is not going to harm you....don't let this go on too lng , though. If you cannot work your problems out yourself, try your GP for counselling.

I went through this a few years back when I had depression and problems with anxiety. I ended up losing 5 stones and looked awful. The one thing I noticed was that it was easier to eat food that had little or no smell - particularly cold food, as it seemed to be the smell that set my nausea off. Try eating fairly bland foods and things you don't have to cook, as well as smoothies or the high energy shakes you can get from the Dr. It will get better, but you should talk to someone about whatever problems you are having as the anxiety will remain until you deal with it. Good luck x
