Oil in hair?

Hey. I've mentioned this before and you're prob all tired of hearing about it but I've got really dry yukky frizzy hair that I ruined through straightening. I've heard that drenching it oil would help and someone's even mentioned beer to me?! Has anyone tried either of these? x x x

Beer is only good for giving it a glossy shine, will not condition it at all.

 

However, mayonnaise is pretty good for dry hair, mix it with your normal conditioner and leave for about 10 minutes before rinsing.  Put it on the ends and don't put it on the roots as it will go really greasy.

I have naturally wavy/curly hair and sometimes it needs TLC.

I swear by John Frieda - Frizz Ease conditioner.About a fiver but you only need a miniscule drop and its fab.

There is an old product which we used years ago and it is still lurking on the shelves at Boots although hardly anybody has heard of it ... Vitapointe.  It really is brilliant for frizzy dry hair and you put it on after you have dried your hair (you rub it between your palms and then just run your hands through your hair) worth a try !

hi, my hair is has also been quite dry lately due to straighteners and colour my mother is a hairdresser and always tells me to leave conditioner in for an hour instead of oil as oil only helps the scalp not the hair. but i started using the new Schwarzkopf Saeh Hairspa range its a bit expensive but well worth it my hair has never felt this good you should defo try it.

When I went to get extensions put in my hair they told me to cover all my hair in extra virgin olive oil and leave in for an hour or so and then wash out as this would help put a lot of the nutrients back into it and strengthen it as I dried my hair out like this too and it was great!
