So can someone explain Pakistans floods.

If I didn't know better, it might look like certain people are being paid back fpr abusing the name of Allah.

If the taliban take over in pakistan no doubt they will have even better floods because they will not allow any outside help (except for killing people that they don't quite agree with)

This has been discussed at length already on other threads, Allah is said to know best and those who believe, believe that the floods are serving some purpose, it is God's will.

And yes wildwood, Muslims also believe in Noah, they call him Nuh and he's mentioned in the Koran.

But for allah (peace..etc) it would certainly have been a lot worse..or perhaps not.

It's only eating pigs which is forbidden, not letting them live in order that other people can eat them.

...and ps. Noah was around hundreds/whatever of years before Mohammed (600ad-ish) so Noah was strutting his stuff long before the ban on pork for Jews and Muslims was instituted.

Funny, isn't it? You'd have thought that when the entire human race was dependant on the survival of just one family - effectively 6 people - God would have made very sure that he passed on vital instructions about not eating pigs etc, rather than leave it until a few hundred years later when a few deaths from pig meat wouldn't have really affected the human race.
