Dvd Rw

I have had a Liteon Dvd Rw put in my pc. i AM RUNNING XP. I want to save video to dvd discs. My previoue video files were on Cd R and when i rip them to disc i am unable to save them to Dvd - R , does anybody have any ideas how i can do this correctly please ?

i take it that your files are video cd then, what you need is a program to rip them to avi or mpg, then use a dvd ripper such as VSO DivX to DVD, then burn to your DVD, i've never burned movies to CD so i'm not totally sure of best software for you to use.
