goldfish dieing?

My goldfish has been acting ill the last few days.

It's; either been floating near the top, laying on the bottom or acting as if it's stuck in the plants, laying there, as if it's dead for a few seconds then fluterring about a bit . . . . .

We are actually, i jsut got back and dads gone away for a couple of days so mum's gone to the chippy.

Jomifl, was the thing about cats and fish meant for me? The cat wasn't allowed in the kitchen, he sneaked in when Mr mac wasn't looking, but he wasn't interested in the fish anyway - he loves to play in water.

perhaps your mum could get it battered while she's there?

Hi Karen, no not meant for you specifically. I think your cat pretended to be uninterested in the fish so that you would let your guard down, as you know they are very sneaky and will wait for ages for an opportunity execute their plans.
