i am asking this q for somebody else,
they want to save pictures on a cd from their computer - them review them on a separate DVD player, is this straight foreward??? - what do they have to save them as - mpeg / jpeg
if at all possible.
I have done it the otherway round with videocam footage & finalised it on the dvd recorder & reviewed on computer no probs!
just save them as jpegs directly in the root of a CD (i.e. not in folders) and 99% of DVD players will show them fine. (some older players might have strange "quirks" like not showing more than 99 pictures etc etc, you can often only find this out by trying them though)
DVD players that play jpegs and mp3's will read a folder structure.
You can now burn even a multi-session data CD or DVD, and they will play. All the Philips players since DVP 5980 will. Older ones will just have a problem with open discs, so finalise them.
