On the channel 5 news today, a guy was trying to contact his brother in New Orleans. He was using his computer, and the programme looked exactly like googleearth, but the pictures were right up to date, he could see the flooding round his brothers house, and the slates off the roof. This was instead of the three year old photos on googleearth, any ideas what the programme is?

It probably was Google Earth!  Updates to the maps, including Hurricane Katrina damage, are on this website:
