No, it isn't. Thank you too for your suggestion. I should add that the book is a fictional story and I don't think it was based at all on real life, though it was written as such. Something else I remember about the book (I hope I don't ruin the story for anyone currently reading it) but at the end of the book the woman is confronted in her appartment by a man from her past - I think it was the one she'd visited in hospital. I'm not sure how but he was able to work or 'crack' the appartment's security features to torment the woman and trap the woman inside for a final show-down.
