The AnswerBank Upgrades, Fixes and Feedback

Dear All,

We have an exciting new AnswerBank to unveil to you lucky souls tomorrow. We should be making the change at around 3pm.

We've got some new features and a lick of paint for you all. I'd like to have a feedback session straight after. So can anyone with an opinion pop in here tomorrow afternoon (15:15?) and we'll go through any issues you've noticed. Or, alternatively, you can just hurl abuse at myself and the technical team.

Also: there will certainly be cake.

Apologies for my earlier comments.....There is a definite difference with AB....No longer is the ' Subscribe to Thread' facility available to me.....Oh dear me! has AB messed up things.

Well I have toddled around the pages with my mag glass, so have tried not to miss anything, we shall see.

Print rather too small for us folks with not such good eyesight, otherwise good, I prefer chocolate cake.

I agree with you birdie73

At the moment I am viewing on a 20inch screen and it's ok. However, if I pick-up AB on my 17inch Laptop, I find it very difficult to read the print.

I've got my 17 ' laptop turned up to 125% screen size - much better

We're getting there, aren't we:) I like the "last answered by" thing in our profiles as well as in the respective topics, I like the new silver lines between posts and I like the new, pale gray. But. (There's always a butt innit:) For some reason I'm blinded by the new site - and not in a good way. The white seems positively radiant. Can't figure out why - it was white before, too. Perhaps it's the paleness of the gray that makes the white seem whiter? I'm actually having problems looking at my screen.

Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

I keep reading the date and time when I'm reading the posts. I prefer it as it was before.
