Someone recently posted a question on this topic and they got some very helpful advice which they’ve used. They were able to replace the screen for them -self and it wasn't that expensive, if I remembered correctly it cost less than £100. I am looking for that thread for you but not having any luck. Hopefully they might see your thread and respond.
cost me £200,,and then it was not right.as the screen was very dark when the brightness was on full
when i took it back,,the guy admitted that he had put the wrong screen on,,i went mad and and to put it politely that he was nothing but a ******* amateur, cheeky git
