watched Oceans13 and in the film the used a patch of pheromone to seduce an older lady, my wife said this is not possible and is artistic license, but I'm sure i've read somewhere that you can get these but not with such powerful effects. can anyone settle this debate

Seriously though, there is no incontrovertible evidence that pheromones work universally, so yes stevie m, your wife is right.

It may be that there is more than 1 male pheromone and they may be differentially attractive to different women. It would certainly explain a lot in my life..of course there are other explanations.

jomifl, there are thousands of chemicals that have been classified as potential pheromones by scientific and pseudo-scientific groups worldwide. There is no evidence to suggest that any of them are a universal or specific pheromone for human cohort groups studied regardless of whether the groups are homosexual or heterosexual.
