peaches with toffee sauce
6 Answers
I had some peaches that I needed to use up and some single cream - what did I do?
Halve and stoned the fruit, fried it in butter until a little soft.
Meanwhile I put
4oz butter
4oz brown sugar
in a pan & heated it until the sugar was dissolved, take it off the heat & poured 100ml of single cream into the mixture. stir until everything is mixed & reheat. serve with the fruit or next time i'm having it with ice cream...............yum!

I needed to do a pudding the other day so found some tinned peaches and tinned mango in the cupboard.
Chucked them in a dish, added toffee sauce as per "jack daniels" recipe then put a thick crumble mix on top and bunged it in the over for half hour.
Result was tropical crumble with toffee sauce. totally awesome just not very British !!!
