Don't rule her out just yet, when talentless twits like bruce (witless) forsythe and the abysmal and truly embarrasing pete morgan on radio stoke, rob the taxpayer by their extraordinary incompetance in their given tasks. Sarah, you would be most welcome on either of the above media. God bless you Sarah, DLTBGYDown. Prudentia, xxx
I'm not a fan of SK, but i do think that she should have been given a decent send-off fron the BBC, if only on the basis of her length of service.
I do agree with Prudentia's comment about Radio Stoke - they all talk to their audiences as though they are five-year-olds with personality problems.
Radio presentation is a highly skilled profession - making it sound easy is a large part of the skill - and on this evidence, some have it, a lot don't.
I think the BBC has made some serioue errors with its prresentation staff - as in putting Patrick Kielty on Saturday mornings.
Let's hope the good ship Radio 2 steadies itself soon.

She left following a long holiday and asked for a further week's holiday and then informed Radio 2 that she would not be returning.
Radio 2's programme controller has said adamantly that it was her own decision.
Sarah Kennedy has said that after 17 years of early rising she wants a rest.
Lynn Parsons is a temporary replacement due to other radio commitments and she will be covering the Smooth breakfast show soon until Simon Bates starts on Smooth in January 2011.
Sarah will surface somewhere soon I am sure after a rest and recharge.
