If a report is made by a member of the public that drug dealing is being carried on, what are the chances, realistically of the police investigating?

SUSPECT, on principal I will always argue my opinions if I think someone is out of order - I have the humility to admit that I may be wrong sometimes and I cannot handle opinionated dictators.

horseshoes in answer to your question the Police will act on your information. But don't expect things to happen over night. The Police will watch and learn, gather evidence then prosecute this may take a few days of few months.

Thank you - I bet they're watching already. It's such a small place. We were discussing it earlier. They probably think it's a great place to deal as it's so quiet and rural, but actually they are sticking out like a sore thumb in their obligitory black BMW (apologies if you own one and are not a drug dealer). You have made a whole bunch of pre-judgements upon me with absolutely no knowledge of the *whole truth* about the rest of my beliefs and experience.
