Unless I'm much mistaken as far as I can see it's not even a news item on the Daily Mail website, the Telegraph link leads to a group discussion and the Sky News links to an item dated Tuesday May 17, 2005, so which government does this relate to? I somehow suspect it's a bit of a non-story.
I don't understand how the Govt is cutting back on benefits when all the public sector organisations are facing massive cuts, people are being made redundant, etc - sure that puts more people on benefits, not less.
So basically everyone's going to have to work for a living?
Those of us who can, NoM, my own public sector employer is likely to shed more than 50 posts next year.
