Itchy feet

My feet are itching like crazy. I have washed them, put foot powder on them, still itching so washed the powder off. Still itching and now driving me mad. any ideas please?

If the itching is on top of your toes - could be chillblains, have they been exposed to the cold lately ?

For how long are they been itching?
Are you itching between the toes and if so which toes.
Do your feet smell?

I thought athletes foot was between the toes and the skin peeled. This is not between my toes but on top of my feet and they are not peeling the skin.

Try having some piriton that might help :)

Evening sqad, foot powder is mycil (sp) and no my feet don't smell.

micmak...then it is unlikely to be Athletes´Foot.

I agree with yelenot........Piriton Tablets should help.

Thanks all. I will try the piriton, Though I can't buy any untill tomorrow. Still does not explain why they are itching though.

Could it be an allergy to new socks or something similar......or it could be a sign of chilblains....

me and my son get this every winter!! its a fun gi infection- do you have bad skin normally? i dont mean on the feet i mean anywhere on you?

I had that and it was a Vitamin B deficiency -drove me nuts.I used to scrape my feet along the carpet instead of walking in the house.
I had to go to my GP -i'll see if I can get a link for you

No pets tambo. no new socks or shoes, no change in washing powder. Skin a bit dry. Even more so since I have been scratching. Thanks for your replies. I am going to cover them in Mrs mics dry skin cream.
