I thought the show tonight was live, but I don't think this is so. In today's papers it said Brenden's Dad passed away hours before Saturday's show but he still carried on, but got a flight straight after the show. Also the costume changes are far too quick. I think it carries on from Saturday's show and is broadcast tonight.

Since Series 5 (2007) the results show has been recorded on Saturday and broadcast on Sunday, rather than shown live later on Saturday as had been the case in previous years.

The format was better when it was all shown on Saturday, result show on a Sunday now is a bit haphazard, would prefer it all on Saturday same with the X Factory, it should be shown on same night: Different viewers on Saturdays and Sundays, don't always want to watch a result show if they haven't seen the previous show!
