Can having your tongue pierced affect the way your taste buds work? I had mine done 5 days ago and yesterday I went to eat some of my favourite crisps (McCoys Thai Sweet Chicken) which normally I do not find spicy. But they seemed really spicy yesterday, and then for dinner I had pepper chicken which again is not particularly spicy, but my mouth felt like it was on fire! Could this be because of my piercing?

When I had mine done, yes it did effect the taste of things but only whilst it healed, I expect your tongue is still a little swollen.

I think your taste buds have had a bit of swelling to cope with, I think all will return to normal very soon. good luck :-)

Does it enable you to pee in two toilets at once?
Lol chuck, it is like peeing through a watering can rose though, its definitely a sit down to pee job.
Cazzzz, there are benefits for both parties :-))) that wasnt the reason for having it done though.
what was the reason ? ratter.
I did a little shiver when I read that ratter :o
Anne, It was a spiritual thing, you will need to research the origins of the ampallang to understand
