Waterboarding
If we assume, for the sake of the argument, that George Bush is telling the truth in his memoirs where he says the use of waterboarding prevented a number of terrorist attacks, including attacks on Canary Wharf and Heathrow, then the ends justify the means, don't they?

I have no idea what you're talking about or what that funny garbled sentence means, but if you aren't pursuing a vendetta, you're giving a pretty good impression of it by hounding me relentlessly across umpteen threads for answers to irrelevant questions. Now either target another ABer who has answered this in a similar vein to me, or put a sock in it and stop boring the pants off everyone. Blimey at this rate, you'll have people thinking you fancy me!!

Did you expect me not to respond to that?
I don't hound you anywhere, have you ever seen me demand you answer questions on another thread?
Because I've seen you do it to Keyplus several times...
If you're on the same thread as me (it is an open forum after all) then you have to get over it, certainly doesn't trouble or worry me, it's a novel idea but you could try just saying what you think clearly and consistently, we could have an honest exchange of views.
I've enjoyed this thread immensely, there's been a robust discussion of differing views.
That said, all I've got you to admit to (apparently) is that after 102 answers you haven't given your views on torture, fascinating... ;-))

we in Cornwall strongly advocate waterboarding - not just for torturing outside invaders of whatever faith or nationality, other than Cornish, to make themkselves look highly stupid and spill their beans (and even their guts sometimes) across our beaches.
Waterboarding aka surfing is good for the local economy........
And that sums up how irrelevant the debate on this thread has become.

If you agree entirely, why are you still at it? And yes, I have frequently seen you demand I answer questions on other threads - just as you continue to do here - and you‘re counting the responses! I repeat yet again this was a hypothetical question, my views on torture weren’t requested, therefore I haven’t offered them - but still you persist. Why? Let me tell you. Because I pointed out the inconsistency in your philosophy that exposes you for the illogical religious apologist you are - and you don‘t like it. In fact in your continual efforts to defend the indefensible you will hide behind anything that pops into your muddled head - including twice at least today, an absent Keyplus. Heaven forbid an Islamic terrorist intent on blowing thousands of innocent people to smithereens should come to harm, but when a Jehovah’s Witness parent denies his child a life saving blood transfusion, that’s fine by you. You will vehemently defend that parent’s right to let the child die!! You clearly have no problem with that, but I do - and I’m the hypocrite? Go away Everton. With all your hot air, moralising, and sermonizing, you have nothing to be proud of. Sickening!
everybody else is - we all want the two of you to stop and get back to the crux of what was a good question at the outset.
If it continues I will highlight this thread, no recent spat, to the editor - what you two are at is not constructive to anyone and both of you are equally at fault. Bets now on to who the first is to apologise to the community at large?????
