can i be allergic to alcohol?

when ever i drink i get all hot flusted, red face, sleepy and rashes appears on my thighs and arms, and itchy. but i dont feel drunk. after my first drink wears off (30mins - hour later) i seem to cool off (as in back to normal).

why does this happen?

DT hehe whitebear drinks too much vodka, but not tonight. just had a glass of wine.... i went all red, hot, rashes appearing on my body..... fell asleeep for 10mins or so..... now im back to normal!! its soo annoying.
