I need a new laptop and like the MAc Book Pro. What are the pros and cons of buying a Mac compared to getting a new PC?

pros

it looks nice.
you don't really have to worry about getting viruses (though that may change if people start targeting macs more)

cons
it won't run all your current software, you'll have to get used to using a totally different operating system, you'll be tied to apple forever for hardware upgrades, you pay a lot more just for the apple logo on it.
