I have a lovely plate which has Greek writing on which I'd love to find out what it says! How do I take a picture and put it on this site for a bit of help? Many thanks :)

Unfortunately you can't post pictures on this site, though you could take a picture and upload it to a different website and provide a link.

Another option migh be to use Character Map (Programs>Accesories>System Tools) and try to "write out" what your plate says.

1. Take digital picture

2. Upload it into "My Pictures"

3. Google for ImageShack

4. Press Browse in ImageShack

5. Find picture in My Pictures, right click, press Select

6. Press Host It in ImageShack

7. Copy the URL that appears after you press Host It

8. Paste URL in AnswerBank, and we can all have a look.

you can probably find a greek-english translater on the net somewhere, or an alphabet that you can match up
