It taste horrible when you just put it in your mouth, but after a minute it's not bad.

I always thought they had a touch of liquorice.......

Getting back to ........the question - it seems there is no medical/clinical proof that they protect from the cold
Rot your hankies boxy, do people still use them, I think they are disgusting?

I love them.
