standalone printers

Can anyone please advise me which standalone printer would be compatible and best for a Toshiba Satellite laptop, not to expensive please!!!!!

Something with cheap replaceable ink cartridges.
Or buy a 'really' cheap printer and throw away when ink cartridge runs out. That is cheaper than replaceing the cartridges sometimes!
Don't buy Photo printer .. unless you really need one.
Epson dear on cartridges .. and bad for service lights shutting off printing. Personally, I would try HP with 2 or 3 cartridge system.

I bought a Lexmark X2550 about 3 years ago, it only cost just over £30 and it is excellent for what I need it for, and still going strong.
