I have a 100% success rate with the meat I buy from my butcher compared to Waitrose. I am reasonably happy to buy chicken from Waitrose that is going into a curry or tagine but I will never buy mince or roasting joints from supermarkets because they simply do not deliver on quality. This is quite a damning statement given that Waitrose is considered to be a high-end supermarket but it is definitely my experience.
