In my garden, never seen one before, he was rummaging around in the snow, Any ideas why he's out of his normal habiat? Presumably somehing to do with he weather!

sorry - was away. I think you could be right Naz it did have black/red & white but too far for me to photograph. It wasn't as bit as the green one & they're often in together.
I do feed horses & have just rolled out a massive hay bale - the birds pick the seeds when they can fight their way in.

They're so skittish and hard to photograph. They'll naturally hide behind whatever they're clinging to. I'm lucky that mine feed 6ft from the window and seemingly can't see me indoors, lol.
