son going to works night out so i am eating alone, found a macaroni cheese pie and some microwave mint totties, that.ll do me,oh and a nice cuppa, whats your delights for tonight.
I've just made carrot and coriander soup (still have to blend it though) for when he comes in from work. He's been outside all day and as I moaned because I had to go to the co-op I thought I'd be kind and have some ready for when he got in.
Got a shoulder of lamb in the oven..with roast veg and mash.
Well I too am dining alone, for me it is a tin of white crab meat chunks, will mix that with sauteed spring onions and red peppers and serve with fresh spaghetti.
We have naff all in apart from a packet of sausages, some bacon and some mushrooms. I feel a hot and tasty sausage casserole with creamy mash coming on.
Can't be arsed tonight (I can hardly stand up as I've just totalled my back). I'll sling a steak on the George Foreman, a Rooster into the oven, and throw some healthy green stuff on from the salad drawer....
I love eating alone, it means I can indulge myself in all kinds of odd things that I'm happy to eat but wouldn't dare to serve anyone else. Today's lunch has been leftover stuffing with gravy and a dollop of mustard, nuked in the microwave until warm.
