Please help,

I have an all in one Epson BX310FN printer bought about three months ago.

Each time I print a sheet of anything I get a series of lines in the background about an 1/16" appx. apart.

I have tried realigning the heads five times now and it does not seem to help at all, and I have also cleaned the heads.

Can anyone help please.

You've not said what version of windows.

but open the properties for the printer driver, goto the maintenance tab and run a head clean and a head alignment.

Oh...

Sorry you've tried the clean... do you have a deep clean option? if so try that.
Do the lines appear when printing Black Text or only when printing colour images, etc???
Make yourself a test page by typing the following rows of letters in the colours given, i.e. Black, Red, Yellow and Blue.
Print this test page and if the unwanted lines appear in only one of the coloured lines of text then I suggest that that particular colour is running out of ink and either needs refilling or a new cartridge, which after three months is quite possible.

BLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLACK
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRED
YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYELLOW
BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBLUE

Never had an Epson but I believe that some of the models do not have print heads on the cartridges and that the print head is built in to the printer itself and can be difficult to clean.
Hope the above helps.

Thanks WAK

Your answer has cleared the problem so far.
I removed the ink cartridges and put them back in again, not a line in sight.
Pleased you've got it sorted. Printers can be very frustrating at times!!!
The nearly new black cartidge on my not very often used HP printer failed to work so I wrapped it in a thin plastic bag and took it to bed tucked in my groin for an hour.
Bingo.
