Hi. Can anybody answer this question. Does Elmlea Double Cream whip like normal cream and be stiff enough to put on a trifle. £10 resting on your answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!x

seriously, third review down mentions whipping it.....

Elmlea is full of nice artificial sweeteners though..........and I just don't trust those given the reputation of sweeteners at large.

Yes - if you google it there are loads of answers confirming yes, you can.
I've never used it but googling suggests that only their specific 'whipping cream' will whip and not the single or double.
So who's won the tenner?
yes, have done so many times, you can't tell the difference.
Prudie the double is the whipping cream. We've got some in the fridge now.
its a ploy to get more money. Whipping cream prob same as double anyway

I only got it from googling and Elmlea seem to do a single, double and whipping as separate varieties (and a few others) but I really have no idea.
Oh I see it's you who gets the tenner :-)
OK fair dos prudie - I've only ever bought the 2 versions.
