Absolutely. But buy animal glucosamine tablets. My lab is on daily Glycoflex 2 tablets for her cartilage problems. And she has been since diagnosis last year. People will say that it makes no difference but my vet is very 'for' glucosamine (in fact 6 of the 9 dogs I walk as a job) have it daily. It's also in quite a lot of good complete foods but in smaller doses.
our vet advised us to give our GSD a human dose every day as the animal ones are not strong enough i used to buy super flex 3 from agestop online also she had a bioflow magnetic collar

Hi thanks for that I do have a nother question how do you tell if a dog has got a tempreture, as some times she puts her head on my lap and her forehead is real hot and I thought perhapes she has a fever cheers
We give our JR "flexi joints" from VetVits - Healthspan in Channel Islands (free delivery on line) they contain glucosamine, chondroitin and Vit C. We get our own from the same company ! They do us good so why not our dogs as well !
When one of my cats had a temperature last year you could feel the difference in his body heat from his normal temperature.

Cata and dogs have a higher body temperature than us humans - which is handy on cold nights int a cold bed.
