VISA FOR AUSTRALIA
Does anyone know if I need to pay £20 for an electronic visa for a month's holiday to Australia. Have looked at their website but it is not too clear.

The Australian government website has sections for all types of visas, if you're going on holiday I believe it's one called an ETA. Don't bother with the various agencies who offer to "help" for a fee.
The system pairs the visa to your passport number but I'd suggest printing each completed application off as a double check.
Hope you have as great a time as we had.

No you don't - assuming a UK passport the electronic visa is free if you apply on the the official site http://www.immi.gov.au/e_visa/visitors.htm
It's not an ETA but an e-Visitor you want. (ETAs still exist, and are chargeable, but you don't need one - they are for non-Europeans))
