Is the God of Islam the same God that the Christians worship, if it is ,why do they call anyone who is not Muslim, infidel

Although the word 'Trinity' is not mentioned in the Bible the concept certainly is:
I John ch 5 v 7: "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word (the Son) and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one'
".

You are in agreement with the JWs then. That's what their 'scholars' say to get round the awkwardness of their Unitarian beliefs. To them the Bible is the living word of God, apart from the bits which disagree with their stance, in which case they are 'not to be taken literally' or ' spurious additions', not in the original.

Doesn't that apply to all the religious, Mike? They all seem a bit picky to me - in their own ways of course. Ahhh, but perhaps you're the exception who actually abides by God's word when he commands you to kill your children for disrespecting you. Nooo .... that would be just silly. ;o)

Personally I find the whole Trinity and Son of God rubbish the most inane part of Christianity.

Yes, of course it is Woofgang - but whether a faith teaches the bible is the living word of God, as mentioned by Mike, or words inspired by God (which I believe is the appropriate phrase), those words are no less cherrypicked to suit - hence my example.
