couple in my local paper celebrates 70 years of marriage

I was 18yrs with my first and am 12yrs with my current.I wouldnt marry again if anything happened -fingers crossed it wont at my age anyway.
My parents have been married for 53 yrs -I was a honeymoon baby - ahhhhhh:)

It was 39 years earlier this month. If we make 70 years we will be 94 and 95. OMG!!

Thank you albaquerty. We don't usually celebrate anniversaries, but perhaps next year a nice meal out with close family would be nice. Forty years is quite a long time after all!! x
