transfer picture files Vista

I use Vista on my laptop and need to transfer loads of photos from the Windows photo Gallery to an out side hard drive iv'e purchased.When selecting all photo's I dont get the "send to" option up.I can send individual photo's out but i've got hundreds to transfer and it will take forever.The documents file and the pictures files went ok by select all.Any help please.

you don't get the send-to option if you right-click, perhaps?

Note your pictures are not in "in" Windows Photo Gallery, you are just using it to view them.

They are stored in a folder on your hard disk somewhere.

Find the folder or folders where they are stored, then select one or more folders and do cut and paste (or drag and drop) to move them to the hard drive.
