Cost of electricity
11 Answers
I've just had notice from my electricity supplier of my estimated household cost for the next 12 months. My home is all electric - no gas. Trying to make comparisons between different suppliers on the internet is like searching in a forest. They all want postcode, amount used, amount paid etc. All I want to know is which supplier(s), without too much fuss and palaver, are reputed to provide the best value for money. Perhaps I'm looking for something too simple. Any thoughts on this please?

I find that most internet searches give unpteen quotes of how much I could save by switching to 'this or that' supplier. I'm not so interested in quotes as seeing how the different suppliers are rated compared to each other. I'm with Scottish Power at the moment and will be interested to look further at the Which? magazine. Very many thanks for these useful pointers.
