Good morning everyone - from a very warm south oz, 42 yesterday, same again today and the children go back to school this morning, poor things. Don't they think a hot weather policy would be an idea !!

On the other hand, I'm keeping cool by the aircon, with no intentions of putting my nose outside the door - think I'll stay here till March !!

Today's matches -

and I'd just like to know why nobody managed a clean sweep, with 9 players collecting 6 points and the 'eccleses' doing a 'mini-sweep' between them - I was fully expecting someone to wipe the board. What we did manage was another overload of scoring and a flying finish from someone who's an old hand at doing just that !!

You'll have to read the Leader Board to find out who - all I can say, it's been one of the most successful months we've had with most of the players finishing with a score in double figures - a rough tally says 151 for this week - pretty good, so Congratulations to everyone, an excellent effort !!

And we hope to continue in the new month, when we reconvene next Saturday, same time, same place - well, just so long as I haven't melted in the meantime - till then, cheers
