squeaky wheel
5 Answers
I have a corolla from new with 35,500mls on the clock 06 reg and after going round a round about the front wheel squeels like hell on the straight before the round about its ok , now a quick look at the brake pads they were roughly 60% down so with an MOT in the next 8 weeks i had the pads changed but the squeel has continued i am not a mechanic but i am suspicious wether it is a wheel bearing gone west :( any suggestions would be appreciated thanxs

You say the front pads were replaced? At the time were the calipers brushed out and cleaned of old brake dust and were the anti squeal shims cleaned and replaced correctly? Also, look for any small stones trapped between brake disc and anti splash shield. A dab of Brake grease between back of Pads and Shims can help as well.
