Well I am departing these fair shores for the Land of Nod. All I know is that despite our debate (and there are loads of issues, logical/illogical 'mud' and misunderstandings that can be thrown at the rural vs town socio-politico-enviro-economic arguments), there will be some distraught racehorse owners, trainers, vets and stable crews in and around Lambourn or wherever tonight. We should remember that.

As I said why is two horses a tragedy but not two hamsters or two snails etc.

Humans being killed is a tragedy in most cases , animals its unfortunate maybe, but it aint a tragedy, you need to put things into perspective

The main point of this is calling it a tragedy, when it is not, as I stated humans dying can be called a tradegy but animals ?! , do me a favour and put your reality glasses on, get real.

You still cant explain why its a tragedy if a horse dies but say a hamster dies is... well what. ?!

I still await the day that an animal can say it likes to race or jump
