Yesterday I waved my OH off on his one month holiday in the motor home to Spain, got my time well planned so no problem. He set off to go to Portsmouth, camping in ferry carpark over night and catching ferry this morning. I had phonecall from him at 10.00 to say he was coming back home. He had missed his bl***y ferry, it went yesterday and the next one is not until Sunday. He hadn't looked at his ferry details since he booked it 5 months ago. I actually asked him if he had sorted all his tickets and had got everything to be told don't be stupid I know what I'm doing and everything is ok. If there is a c*ckup to be done he's your man. Is this a typical man thing or not?

Only when an uncaring female allows her poor fella to leave and drive all that way without having checked his tickets for him before he went! It's clearly a sign of a wife who callously expects her unfortunate hubbie to have to do everything for himself, the heartless hussey!

We guys are not put on this earth to have to make crucial decisions like checking our travel documents when we have to go someplace, are we? Of course not, we have better things to do, like making sure we haven't lost the telly changer, or some other, similar emergency like that?

No, the menial tasks are for the females, that's their domain. Well, after all, why should the man of the house be expected to overtax himself, eh? No, you don't buy a dog and then bark yourself, do you?
