for us it's delia smiths chicken basque, cheesy tear and share bread and a bottle of luscious waxed bat. been a busy day so it's nice to sit down with a large glass of this lovely wine and enjoy the fact that dinner is slowly simmering away in the oven.
Sirloin Steak with pepper sauce and roasted vegetables, all washed down with a nice Cabernet Sauvignon. Fruit for dessert as holiday looms and want to watch the weight!
Tonight I have one of my favourites being made for me as been at work today -
Dexter steak (fron cows that lived on the farm I live on :-) ) with stilton on, jacket potatoe with sour cream and cheddar and salad!

the waxed bat is an argentinian red wine - shiraz petit verdot malbec, to quote the label. it's 14% volume so only managed two thirds of the bottle, have the last third waiting for me for this evening.
well dris, when you're only allowing yourself one bottle a week, you have to make it last. wouldn't have happened prior to 4th jan when the diet started. tell you what, makes you really appreciate it though..
