Calling All Intelligent People
92 Answers
There are a lot of people on here who appear extremely intelligent and not just knowledged up on one particular subject but people who have a huge amount of factual information on many different, that they clearly haven't just copied and pasted from Google. So, how do you become to be so intelligent?

Isn't intelligence relative? I mean as others have said, knowledge sometimes outweighs perceived intelligence, so isn't knowledge as per the bike building chap intelligence?
Take someone who knows intimately how the internal combustion engine works, he understands the physics, the maths and schismatic’s however he couldn’t change a spark plug. He would be called by any acceptable standard intelligent, but is he more intelligent than the mechanic who can actually fix the car.

Thanks very much for all the contributions. It's certainly given me food for thought and and I now see that intelligence comes in many different forms. It's actually made me feel a little more confident in my own abilities and does encourage me to want to 'learn' more about the the world and all that's in it. I suppose I'm still quite young too and I'm sure there is plenty more I will pick up along the way.

Everyone has a talent for something milly143 !
Those that left school with qualifications as long as your arm do not always become successful in life.
Tim Martin of JD Wetherspoon fame is a good example, as he named his chain of Pubs after a Teacher in his school who told him he would never be a success in life.

Intelligence is relative. Not everyone is fluent in all subjects.
What is your occupation Milly ? Judging by your avatar am sure you know all the Arsenal team players or their last results. Your score on that subject would certainly be much higher than most - that's your intelligence and has the same worth.
