My E drive has disappeared

Help please.My E drive has disappeared. C and D drives are still there. Any help welcomed

What was on your E drive? A USB pen? external disk?

It's my CD drive

Look for it in Device Manager .. Look at properties to see what they say. If OK .. Remove/uninstall and reboot for Windows to load it again.
If still bad or not showing .. it probably needs replacement.
If ok .. Windows can/does remove drives if they fail to read data on a dirty/scratched disc several times in succession. They load again on boot as above.
