This lady has endured horrific sexual abuse from her Grandfather who used to play a "hanging game" with her brother by picking him up by the neck till he passed out,
she has the famous Liverpudlian humour and is so funny, I will definitely buy her book, she's the lady manager in Benidorm.

"famous liverpudllian humour" that's a joke in it's self
Jimmy tarbuck? ken Dodd ? I rest my case
i was asked for the crissy rock book yesterday but we haven't had it in as yet, the section andy is referring to is called 'True Lives' and is a sub-section of the biography topic. it is very very popular and the books in general tend to be quite harrowing, but today I had an author in whose book was on the shelf, it was called 'matron knows best', she was called jean woodcock (think that was her first name) she signed the copy we had in, very nice woman, so they're not all doom and gloom.
sorry, 'tragic lives' not 'true lives' tut
My friend calls these types of books "misery lit"
Says it all really!
Chrissy Rock is a fabulous fabulous woman. I saw her on Wednesday's This Morning and felt quite humbled by her attitude and her wonderful way of coping with humour. I would like to buy her book too - not all light reading though I shouldn't think..

yes I do think the Liverpudlian people have a great deal of inbuilt wit and humour, not specifically the ones on television, but in general
