I have my power saver plan (Windows 7 32 bit) set up to switch off the monitor after 10 min and to put the pc to sleep after 20 min. Both worked perfectly until a week ago; now neither works. I have tried altering the times, but it still doesn't work. Any ideas anyone?

If you go to power saving options where you configured these settings initially have you made sure you're definitely using the same power plan that you configured? I've noticed that Win7 let's you very easily change the power plan and you might have done this by accident.

So for instance, if you created a custom plan, or changed these settings on the "power saving plan" make you a) save the changes and b) enact that power plan.
