DVD sound ...not working.

Hi, anyone any ideas ? ....the sound from the DVD player in my PC is not working.
It plays the sound from a CD, the information from a software CD/DVD and also
the video from a DVD......it's just the sound from the DVD that's not 'coming through.
. I'm 'baffled'.

Shame you forgot to mention your OS.
Try downloading and installing the K-Lite standard code pack:

Before I use K-lite can you tell me what it does ?

It adds the correct codecs to your system for a range of things, one of them being AC3 audio which you require for DVD sound.
