attemted fraud
hi there im sorry to be a pain, i have been charged with 2 counts of attempted fraud as my partner was involved too. Basically we attempted to cash our own cheques in a cheque cashing store but they rang the police fair doo's in interview we held our hands up to not having sufficient funds in accounts. Thing is i was sent to prison for fraud 4 years ago but something on the scale of £45,000 this time round its sums of £1850 & £1900 but attempts. I am really worried about prison this time round as i have a young child and was so stupid to even think about doing anything like this as i have so much to loose. Please help!

Yogi ...
I think its_me has a fair point.
He asked for help and, so far, all we've done is told him he should have learnt his lesson last time.
I'm guessing he's realised that already.

Weas thanks for the support obviously some dont feel the same which is understandable. As for googling anything about me would that actually help anyone thats judging one by there past and not what they are doing from relese and at present. Saying that judgemental people who are judging me need to really take stock of there own issues i asked for help, not to be scrutinised!
Totally agree there weas hense why i took on a role of helping victims of homicide families and case studies show there siblings would be involved with police probation and prison service thats telling me they need some sort of help. Not saying punishment shouldnt be served but saying help them along the way too. Shame not everyone dont have the same views out of all these comments 3 people have had an actual decent comment without been judgemental.
Well said, weas ... and I join you in hoping that its_me somehow survives tomorrow.
It's completely pointless saying "You shouldn't have done it, you should have known better, blahdy, blahdy, blah".
its_me already KNOWS all that !
And we all do stupid things. Sometimes those things are stupid because they are against the law, and sometimes ... they are just stupid because they are stupid.
But hey ho ... I'm pleased that its-me's solicitor seems to agree with me ...
It will be close, but I'd put my money on a suspended sentence, and Community Service.
Slapped wrist, very sorry, won't happen again ... back on AnswerBank this time tomorrow.

Jayne glad to see you have faith in one. Hey this is what im saying im here for advise not to be told how it is as i am aware of this but i cannot dwel on fact ive done it im a man so i will take the punishment in due course but to admit i am in debt and currently recieving CBT of the mental health team which took nearly 3 years to get onto, feels like ive just thrown it all away for nothing in an act of stupidity. Yes solicitor thinks community order or suspended hopefully as of probation but still dont make me think other wise. Cheers again Jayne
