I know what you mean LDC about sharing the burden. I had noone, but them Mr LL didn't get any help whatsoever from his siblings when he needed them when his mother was very ill and dying. So it doesn't always follow. And being the only one there were no horrible squabbles at such an emotional time. Mr LL got the squabbles and nastiness after his Mother died from one of his siblings.

It's lovely that you now have a good relationship with your half sister though.
