Not sure about last letter: 31a Gross sound moving hearts. Is it 'earths' (anag. of hearts) or 'earthy' which more appropriately fits the definition?

Trouble is, I have the rest of the letters: HEART?. Just don't feel confident about the last letter.
Going out now, so if any other suggestions, will consult later/tomorrow.

This one is not easy to resolve. Chambers offers "gross" as an alternative to "earthy" while "moving" suggests an anagram of hearts hence "earths". Could "gross sound" be "grows"?, again suggesting "earths". On balance I would favour earths

It's definitely "EARTHY" = Gross. Hearty = sound with the "h" moved.
