How do you get baby to adapt to the clocks changing? Does it come naturally or do I have to make Little Tiggs wake up an hour early? He used to get up at 6.30 which is perfect for when I got back to work but he wakes up naturally around 7.30 now. I put him to bed at 7pm which is what I was doing before the change but he is still getting up later.

If you need him to wake up earlier then wake him up! My girls both sleep later than that because that's what suits me...except on Friday when the biggest one has nursery so i wake them both up.

Most mums I know would be pleased that their baby had started sleeping an extra hour!
yeah, i would just wake little one up when you need to - don't worry about it - babies will catch up on sleep during the day if need be! I wasn't so worried about the clocks change this time as i'm not back in work yet, but i did start getting him settled down in the evenings half an hour earlier for a week or so before the change, and now he seems to settle by 7pm. x

Well luckily Little Tiggs woke up around 6.30 today. I've been putting him to bed around 7 - 7.30 and despite a few objections he has eventually fallen asleep.

If I wasn't going back to work soon I'd love to just leave him K8 but unfortunately I am and starting work at 8 would mean I have to get up at 6.30.
Is he too young for his first alarm clock?
Question Author
Not quite there yet Kopkirk. Maybe in about 5 or 6 years.
I agree with K8, my two used to wake early, so you are lucky.

Lucky at the moment.
