Personally I think that due to cutbacks they dont want to refer you on.

I suffered from this in my early 40's but was never prescribed medication. I was sent to a physio and 6 weeks later all was fine.

already tried the pelvic exercises didnt work I am sorry to say.
I was wired up 3 times a week to an electronic impulse machine.
I have just written about this ,to save money GP'S are not referring patients
I don't know anything about this, but I would think any operation would be a last resort, once other treatments have been ruled out.
Dee Sa....if you have been examined and there is no sign of a uterine prolapse, then they are the facts.........no prolapse.......no operation.

I agree with your GP´s treatment.
I've been on these and they did work for urge incontinence. I was referred by my GP 2½ years ago to the hospital for stress incontinence and after attending physio, incontinence nurse and then the gynaecologist, I eventually had the operation for a TVT which has worked but did have to go through the motions, so to speak. hth
